Completing and archiving a project

What happens when a project moves to the archive: participant access, the object passport and your subscription slot.

When the work is finished, the project goes to the archive. This frees up a subscription slot.

How to archive

In the project list, tap Select, choose the project and move it to the archive.

Projects are not deleted — archiving is how a project is closed, and the Owner is the one who does it.

A project is also moved to the archive automatically if the subscription goes unpaid.

What happens to the slot

Billing counts active projects. An archived project takes no slot, so the one it frees can be used for the next property at no extra cost.

This changes how the subscription works: you pay for how many properties you run at once, not how many you ran over the year.

What to do before archiving

Close out the object passport. Make sure every stage passport has been published and the Client has received them.

Clear the specification. Items still sitting in Delivery will have nobody to sort them out afterwards. Check whether the material was used, is in the warehouse, or was returned.

Process returns. Unused material in the Site section is money some merchants will still take back.

Download the passport PDF. For yourself and for the Client — a file on a disk is more reliable than any access rights.

What happens to access

Participants lose access to an archived project. Your address book is unaffected: people stay in it, and inviting them to the next property takes one tap.

What the Client should know

A downloaded passport PDF is yours permanently and does not depend on what happens to the project on the contractor's side. If you may need the passport to sell the property or for repairs years later, save the file straight away.
