The project screen

The sections of a project in DOMOD: stages, material list, documents, chats and the object passport.

A project opens as a single screen: description and shared sections on the left, stages on the right.

The right-hand side: stages

The list of stages and a button to create a new one. From here you go inside a stage, where the tasks live.

Stages are the main navigation for a project. Everything else on the screen relates to the object as a whole.

The left-hand side: project sections

Description — what the object is, its address, the planned dates.

Chats. A chat with the client, involving the client, the company owner and the managers. And a team chat — the same people without the client.

Client. A block with the client's card and an add button. The client is optional: a project works without one.

Managers. Cards for the project managers and an add button.

Project technical description — up to 5,000 characters. General conditions for the object rather than for a specific job.

Project documents — file exchange at object level: contracts, plans, drawings, permits.

Object passport — at the bottom of the screen. Formed from the published stage passports.

Where to find things

There is no specification at project level — it lives in the tasks and is collected in the stage.

Tasks are not on the project screen either: they sit inside stages. To find problem tasks quickly across the whole project, use the filters.

What the client sees

The description, project documents, the passport, their two chats, and the stages with task cards. Specifications, stage participants and internal chats are not visible to them.
